If you've never tried Hot Yoga at CrossFit 816 — come in now! We are the only place in Kansas City, north of the river, to practice Bikram-inspired yoga in a heated room. You might be thinking a couple of different things right now…
"Wow, a heated room. WHY?"
"I dont like to sweat"
"I've never done it before."
"I'm not flexible"
"Yoga is not for me, I'd rather run, bike, etc"
We turn the heat up to 100° to warm your body, warm your muscles and enable you to get a deeper stretch.
You will sweat, and that is a great thing. Flush those toxins out!
The pose series works your internal organs as well as your muscles, all that twisting and bending and pulling translates into better digestion, clearer thinking, improved concentration and mental focus, as well as better sleep at night.
Hot Yoga is completely appropriate for beginners - if at anytime you feel uncomfortable with the heat, lay down and rest in child's pose or savasana.

Hot Yoga classes are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7pm and Saturday at 9am. We also offer a non-heated Vinyasa class Monday at 6:30pm, and Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm.
